Why I Write
Deciding to become a writing minor was a no brainer. Ever since I was little, writing has been my favorite subject in school.
Somehow though, when I was challenged to explore WHY I write, I was lost. Lately, I've been swallowed by massive academic papers and in the process, have grown to enjoy writing less.
This project forced me to take a step back and discover the little things I love about writing today. I brainstormed; lists, notes, social media, my food blog. I found comfort in knowing I do still write constantly, and like doing so, but I lose sight of that in the craziness that is being a student at the University of Michigan.
My "Twitter" bio in my prezi states the essential goal behind my project: to analyze where, when, for whom, for what, and how I wrote then and today.
