The Writing

The Gateway course serves as Writing Minors' entry point into the program. In the course, minors explore the writing process and writing across new media through a few major projects, outlined on this page.

The Capstone course is the last writing course minors take before graduating. Minors are challenged to apply what they've learned over the past two years to a self-directed, semester-long project of their choice.

After graduation, I will be beginning a career in the media industry. Essays I wrote in upper level English and Communications classes allowed me to explore myself and industry practices that will help prepare me for my next phase.
